6 Days Samburu /Abedares /Baringo / Nakuru
 

Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu

After breakfast depart Nairobi at 8.30Am drive to Samburu National Reserve cross Equator, travel through changing landscapes to the rugged-semi region, though harsh but having unique species like the unusual reticulated giraffe, grevy's Zebra, Beisa, oryx, gerenuk. These species are rarely found elsewhere. The bird life is especially notable. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge

 

Day 2: Samburu –Aberdares

 

Early morning breakfast, followed by a game drive in Samburu then proceed to  Abedares with picnic lunch  arrive in the late evening to enjoy the floodlit waterholes where wildlife and birds regularly visit. If time permit proceed for a short game drive dinner and overnight stay at the Camp/Lodge

 

Day 3: Aberdares – Baringo

Early morning breakfast then proceed from Baringo, we make a scenic drive to the west across the Lerochi Plateau, arriving at Lake Baringo in time for Lunch. Have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.

 

Day 4 Baringo -Bogoria

Early morning breakfast then live Baringo for Bogoria, in the spectacularLake Bogoria; hot springs and geysers are the main attractions. The lake has been called ‘the new home of the flamingo’ with a nomad population of up to two million birds. For the bird enthusiasts, Kesubo swamp located north of the park is home to more than 200 species of birds. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.


Day 5: Bogoria –Nakuru

 

Early morning game drive we then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive. The park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you will find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. We spend the night at a budget hotel.

 

Day 6: Nakuru – Nairobi

 

After breakfast depart Nakuru for Nairobi with pit stop over’s at the Elmentaita Lake and the great rift valley view points  for breath taking views of the Great  Rift Valley. Arrive at Nairobi later evening for end Safari.
